MUDr. Peter Olšák

Peter was born in 1985 in Ilava, Slovakia. After studying at the Faculty of Medicine of Palacký University in Olomouc, he worked for ten years as a rehabilitation physician at the Olomouc University Hospital. In the autumn of 2020, he joined the Vesna Children's Rehabilitation Centre, where he continues to work to this day.

He began using electroacupuncture in patients with severe mobility disorders in 2016 and has since treated more than 700 patients using this method. He lectures on electroacupuncture and is actively involved in teaching acupuncture and electroacupuncture to physicians. He serves as the Scientific Secretary of the Czech Medical Acupuncture Society of the J. E. Purkyně Czech Medical Association.

In the past, he led a research team at Palacký University in Olomouc that won the Transfera Technology Day 2023 competition with innovative needles designed for electroacupuncture applications.


MUDr. Eva Kovářová

Eva graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno. Before completing her specialist certification in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine, she worked at Aberdeen University Hospital in Scotland and subsequently at the Hospital of the Merciful Brothers in Brno. For the past eight years, she has been working at the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the Military Hospital in Brno, where she focuses primarily on anesthesia and the care of critically ill patients. She is a graduate of acupuncture and electroacupuncture courses led by Dr. Olšák.


MUDr. Réka Popelová

Réka graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Masaryk University in Brno. She is a board-certified physician in rehabilitation and physical medicine. She works at the Rehabilitation Department of the Hospital in Nové Město na Moravě, which is part of a stroke center, where the majority of patients are treated after neurological conditions and recent injuries.

In addition, she works in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic and an acupuncture clinic in Žďár nad Sázavou. She is a graduate of an acupuncture course at the Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education in Prague and electroacupuncture courses led by MUDr. Olšák. She is also currently completing her studies in traditional Chinese medicine at the TCM Institute in Prague.


MUDr. Marianna Čopáková

Mari is a graduate of the Second Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. She obtained her specialization in Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine after passing the core examination in neurology. She subsequently led a clinic for pelvic floor disorders. She further expanded her education to include pediatric rehabilitation and completed specialized training in Vojta diagnostics and the Prechtl method. In her practice, she frequently applies elements of the Bobath concept. When working with children, she especially enjoys exploring the connections underlying motor development disorders in infants and toddlers.

For the past nearly five years, she has served as the medical director of a spa facility in Eastern Bohemia. She was involved in establishing a new inpatient rehabilitation center specializing in neurorehabilitation, including the implementation of a cranio program. She is a graduate of courses in acupuncture and Ac-tive ENF electroacupuncture.
